Stop WebEx from auto-muting music or other sounds during a call

We are a WebEx shop. At many of our meetings, we play music and sound effects in between speakers. Up until 30 days ago, I could play music from an external speaker and/or my phone and the participants could hear it. Now if I am not the presenter, the AI sound mutes my speakers and phone. It's so advance that even if I am the presenter, I can't play anything unless it's embedded into my PowerPoint OR if I share a MP3 or online playlist (and even then, I have to stop sharing my PowerPoint to share the music source). Out IT team is trying to figure it out, but I thought I'd see if the community had any ideas. 

BTW, I have changed all of my setting to be music forward, and other settings in an attempt to get around it, but no luck.

Is anyone else experiencing this (and, more importantly), and is there a solution?
