We want not upgrade to Webex App. Is that an option?

 

We have a small group of webex users and the upgrade has a lot of impact at our company while we are not waiting for more functionality in Webex besides the meeting option. 

 

Is it therefore possible to use the Webex meeting app?

As i know, this feature enable via Cisco internal feature toggle.

But i didn't suggest you to turn off those feature toggle,  even you use WebEx app to start/join WebEx meeting, they also can according cross launch to use all meeting feature like WebEx meetings app.  so you can contact Cisco technical support team to confirm whether cross launch is enable for your Org or not.

Hello J.guit,

I am not sure of the type of Webex account that you possess, but here are some options:

1. Slow Channel - Slow Channel sites can manually upgrade their sites to a later Slow Channel update or to the Latest Channel. This is managed by the respective site admins. When you switch your Webex sites to the Latest Channel, your sites get upgrades when they release and your users always have the latest features.

2. Locked down sites - Customers can contact their Customer Success Managers (CSM) or call into Webex support and request to have their site version locked down. Once the site is locked down there will be no automatic up-gradation of the Webex site. 
Customers who are locked down to a specific meeting application version should get the download file directly from their Webex site.

The problem is different, now we use Webex meeting app and there will be an upgrade process to upgrade it to Webex app. The question is whether we can continue to run on the old app(Webex meeting app), so not an upgrade.
