webex meetinglink does not open in app

When I try to join a webexmeeting and click the link, the meeting always opens in the browser instead of the app. Mac OSX 12.4, webex app version 42.7.0.22904

This happens when at some point you told you browser to always open links with certain extensions in the browser. An easy way to solve is to clear all your browser cache, cookies, etc. The next meeting you start should again ask you if you wish to open with Webex or on the browser, and you can save that new setting.

Clearing cache and cookies is not an option, then all other settings from other applications or websites will also be gone.
