WebEx recording download restrictions

Looking for options to disable the ability to download a WebEx recording only from the URL/password link without having to manually select that check box recording by recording for each user. This is to protect private information that may occur in a WebEx meeting.

There is a way to disable downloads globally, however our hosts still need the able to download recordings for editing/posting on intranet sites.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

We do not want to turn it off globally which is the problem. I opened a TAC case and they said there is no way to just disable from the forwarded link. It's all or nothing.

You also cannot download recordings as an administrator, you only have the ability to reassign.

Not many options with Control Hub as of now which is why I am looking for other solutions.

Yes!

In Control Hub > Under Services, Meeting > Select your Meeting Site, and click Configure Site

Under Common Settings, click Site Options

Scroll down till you see this section. The second row here allows you to Prevent downloading of recordings.webex_recordings_options.png

I understand this won't let your admins download the recordings for posting internally, but it will at least stop your recordings from being downloaded by others.

Did this move? I can no longer find this under Meetings >  Site Options in Control hub.

Edit: It did move. Under Common Settings, click Security.

Thanks rikardkrvaric - I know where we can disable globally, but we do not want to do that as there is still a need for hosts to download the recordings. We are looking for a solution to block the ability to download only when the recording link is forwarded. There is a way to do that at a user/recording level but it is manual and does not mitigate the risk.
