Webex status not showing me in meeting.

Webex status not showing me in meeting / Busy and keeping me as available all the time. is there any solution?

I've been unable to find a common case where it always happens. For example, in the UCCE Summit meeting today with Cisco and Webex shows available. Have tried joining via my webex app as well and continues to show available.

If Webex had the capability to set your status (IE set your icon to orange along with the status) this would be less of a problem. The flexibility of setting your availability has been big pain since moving off Jabber.

Has the problem been solved ? Just have the same problem with an user in the company, so far we tried:

 

  • Sign out  -  Sing in
  • Checking configurations relating change or updates of status
  • Uninstalling and then re-instaling desktop application 
  • Deactivating - activating the user
  • Checking licences of the user

None of them has been succesful, what steps or alternatives did you tried?

In which cases does it not work?

Currently, there are limitations when being on a call via desk phone, IIRC. You will also not being shown busy if there is just a calendar appointment but you're not actually attending the meeting/call.
