Why can I not remove 'out of office' and the small aeroplace icon?

If you have Webex integrated with a calendar system, that will affect your status and put the Out of Office icon on your profile if you have that as an event on your calendar.  Have you checked your calendar to see what your status is?

Well, for WebEx I do not know, but for Webex it depends if you have enabled the integration for your user only or if it was enabled at org level. Simply check your settings at your meeting site, there is a setting to disconnect from the hybrid calendar service.

If it is enabled by your admin, you'd have to reach him out.

But disabling the integration will also make you loose the @webex scheduling options from Outlook and the upcoming meeting view in the app.
