XPS-9510 internal microphone crashing Webex

Hello,

I regularly use Webex with my Dell XPS 15 9510 laptop which runs Windows 10 (using internal laptop microphone/speakers). A typical call will start fine, however, in almost every call, Webex will stop recognising the internal microphone. This usually follows with Webex itself crashing. The same issue is not happening with other software (Zoom, Teams, etc). I have tried several solutions including:

- Uninstalling and re-installing Webex

- Ensuring the correct microphone is selected in Webex

- Checking that all the relevant permissions are enabled in Windows

- Updating the drivers on the laptop through SupportAssist and Windows
