We do quite a few Webex Events for both internal and external meetings. We keep having periodic issues with the panelist link not working for people who try to use it to join as a panelist and we can't figure out why. It happens with both internal and external people.
As an example, a coworker joined a Webex Event this morning using the panelist link and he had no issues, but this afternoon he tried joining a different Event and he got a message saying his email wasn't recognized, even though he was definitely invited as a panelist. He had to join as an attendee and then be elevated as a panelist.
We haven't found any consistencies in when or why this happens. For some Events, everyone is able to join as a panelist without a problem. For others, some people can join using the panelist link and others aren't able to. Sometimes after a panelist joins as an attendee, we're not even able to elevate them to a panelist - the "Make Panelist" button is grayed out. We haven't found any rhyme or reason why that happens either.
Does anyone have any ideas for why this might be happening, and how we might be able to stop it from happening? Thank you for any ideas!
