Playing Video/System Audio in WebEx Events

I see in this article that the ability to play a video that includes the system audio is only available in meetings and not events. I am hosting webinars WebEx Events and would like to play video to demonstrate the video functionality in a product demonstration.

When will this capability be added to WebEx Events?

As a possible workaround to sharing a video file, as presenter, go to File->Open and share and choose the video file you want to share. The file you share has to be the raw video file (e.g. .mp4 or other) and not one that is embedded in a powerpoint file.

I thought of that too and tried it but it doesn't work with sharing with audience in events and there's a message that pops up saying so.

This will be available in the new Webex Events (beta version in 41.4 and production in 41.5)

Thank you. I look forward to the official release of the new WebEx Events and hope it is soon! I have a webinar April 21 and it looks like it won't be ready by then but I'm hoping not too long after that.
