Webex Events - YouTube - no audio

Hello, 

I have received a request from the customer, that they need to share a YouTube clip during an event, but audio is not transmitted. 

I have tested with Share Multimedia, but is not working as expected (as in Webex Meetings). It looks like the video is just available for attendees.

Also, I have downloaded the YouTube desktop application (https://ytdesktop.com/), then Share Application > select YT, but audio doesn't work. 

I saw that sharing a video from PC from the Presenter's PC, works fine. 

What am I missing here?

Hi Crissa_Toma, 

If you are using the "Classic" Events, sharing the Youtube video via Share Multimedia is the recommendation.  As to why it was not heard by some, you'd have to double-check the audio device itself.  If the person that could not hear (no matter what their role) is using a phone to connect to audio, the audio from the video will not be via the phone, it will be through their speakers.  Sometimes the volume is turned down all the way or muted.  

Sharing the video using a screen share or application share with Classic Events does not force the sound of the video through anyones speakers.
