Extensible Authentication Protocol Transport Layer Security Deployment Guide for Wireless LAN Networks
This doc had been posted at http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/sqsw/sq/tech/acstl_wp.pdf. The document provides an overview of the theory of EAP-TLS, and a configuration example using the following components:
- An AP342, running VxWorks 11.10T
- A RADIUS server, running ACS 3.0
- Windows XP, with the Wireless Zero Configuration supplicant
- Windows 2000 Server, acting as the Certification Authority
The example shows configuring EAP-TLS authentication for dynamic WEP.
For a more contemporary configuration example, see the article Configure Wireless Clients running Windows 7 for EAP-TLS Authentication with NPS Radius Server.
