Introduction

How to determine the software version that runs on Wireless LAN Controllers 4100 and 4400

Resolution

The version information on the controller can be obtained using the Graphical User Interface (GUI) or the Command Line Interface (CLI)

If using the GUI, select Monitor Tab. The version should be listed under Summary at the top.

If using CLI, issue the show run-config command to display the version number. You will need to hit "enter" until you see the Product Version line.

To show a comprehensive view of the current Cisco Wireless LAN controller configuration, use the show run-config command.
