We have been working on a deployment using Meraki AP's and were consistently seeing phones un-registering to CME when trying to make a call.

On the back of this document we changed to 5GHz from 2.4GHz and the issue appears to be resolved!

Gordon, glad to hear that things are working better for you in 5GHz.  In densely populated areas, 2.4GHz is becoming decreasingly viable due to congestion.

For reference, the Deployment Guide for deploying 792xG phones with Meraki APs is http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/7925g/7_0/english/deployment/guide/7925_Meraki_dply.pdf .  Do be aware that using some older Meraki APs with the 792x phones is not supported.
