Resolution
Proper installation of the Cisco Aironet Client Adapter and its associated utilities is fundamental to the successful operation of a wireless LAN. Select the version of Windows currently in use, and follow the applicable instructions.

For details on driver installation for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows ME, refer to the appropriate section of Installing the Client Adapter. If Windows XP is used, the driver for the wireless card is included with the operating system, and is loaded during the installation of the card. For information on how to upgrade the driver, refer to the Deciding How to Configure Your Client Adapter (Windows XP Only) section of the same document.
For details on driver installation for Windows CE, refer to the Installing the Driver and Client Utilities section of Installing the Client Adapter.
Note: Windows CE 5.0 is not supported by any of the Cisco Aironet Client Adapter Drivers and firmware. If Windows CE must be used, move to a different version of Windows CE. For more information on firmware versions and requirements, refer to these documents:
