The radio shuts down after you upgrade the firmware

Core Issue

This occurs after upgrading the firmware on the access point or the 350 series bridge.

Resolution

If you are running firmware version 11.21, use the following procedure:

  • Select yes for the Require use of Radio Firmware X.XX setting on the AP/Root Radio Advanced page, and follow the upgrade steps again.


Also refer to the "Require Use of Radio Firmware x.xx section" of the Configuring the Radio and Basic Settings document.
