Cisco ISA570, SG500-52p and WPA321 setup issue.

Hi there,

We have a

Cisco ISA570 router, SG500-52p switch in layer 2 and 6x WPA321 AP's in cluster mode.

We have set up 2 VLANs 1(normal) and 2 (guest) on the router

-Server is doing DHCP for vlan 1

-Router is doing DHCP for vlan 2

Switch is in layer 2

We've set up a staff and members wireless SSID and assigned them to vlan 1 and 2 respectively.

We can connect to the staff wifi and get an IP and internet

We cannot get an IP on the member SSID on vlan 2 - we connect, but no IP.

What are we missing?

Thanks!

Shawn

Hello Shawn,

I don't see any information on how you configured the switch. It sounds like you configured the vlans on the router and set up the vlan ids in the SSIDs but you have to create trunk ports on the switch for your WAP's and tagged vlan 2. That sounds like all you have to do and you should be good to go.

Hope that helps

Thanks,
