WAP 200 is slow

Hi team

We have 3 WAP 200 installed at our office, and i was checking the speed yesterday i been to www.speedtest.net, and we have cable modem, the speed i was getting 25.0 Mbps down and 2.0 Mbps UP when i was connected via a wire, but if i am connected via wireless the speed i was getting 12.0 Mbps Down it is almost half, MY laptop have G wireless client, and i was very close to access point, my signal strength was Excellent, Any body have any idea how can improve that, i checked with 3 different laptops i was getting the same results, All three access points are connected directly to POE switch, when i was connected through wire i was connected to same switch. All three access points are configured individually,

Any help will be really appriciated

Yes, Wireless is half duplex so your laptop and AP only transmits and receives at one given time. you're speed will be cut in half.
