WAP4400N: Can't Access Web-Based Configuration Utility

Our network setup uses static IP addressing behind a Linksys RV082 router (several switches connect directly to the router).  Wireless access is provided via the Linksys WAP4400N hooked directly to the router.

A new wi-fi device is unable to connect to the network; in trying to troubleshoot the problem, I wanted to check the WAP4400N settings through the web-based utility.  I am, however, unable to access it using either IE or Chrome on network computers using Windows 7 or 10.  I've not had reason to access the web-based utility in about 8 months, but I had no trouble then.

I will appreciate any suggestions.

In reading through discussions here and elsewhere -- and assuming I correctly understood -- it sounds like the problem with the web-based utility is that it uses SSL 3, which was discontinued by all current browsers due to security concerns (POODLE).  It sounds like there was a firmware update for the WAP4410N that addressed this problem, but not for the 4400N.

The solution that worked for me was to put out a call to employees who had unused older smartphones that had been configured some time back for our network's access.  Several brought me their dregs, and I was able to use an older Android phone to access the web-based utility to successfully add the newest device to the Wireless Access Control.

This resolved the current issue; and we'll make budget adjustments to purchase a newer WAP to resolve this problem going forward.  It's a shame to have to ditch a piece of hardware that's still working flawlessly (our inventory person tells me it was put into service in 10/2006) but for the current inaccessibility of the web-based configuration utility, so if anyone has suggestions for a better workaround I'd appreciate it.  But, we can't complain about 9+ years of flawless service from the thing.
