WAP4410N POE - Injector or Splitter?

Can the WAP4410N accept a 48 VDC input from an IEEE 802.3af POE injector or is a splitter required on the AP end to drop the 48 VDC to 12 VDC and utilize the DC input connector on the back of the AP? I would prefer to use only the injector at the switch if the AP can accept the 48 VDC at the ethernet port.

While I am not that familiar with this particular device, I find it hard to reckon that it would fail to work. However, we found that by using the Panoptic POE Splitter we successful used our 802.3AF switch to power a non-standard AP, IP phones, etc.

Thanks Brian for the post. I used a Powersine PD-3001/AC POE as an injector and the AP powered up without issues. Learned that downstream splitters take the 48 VDC and regulates it  to 12 VDC and routes it to an external power connector to support non-POE devices.

Good to know that worked out for you Larry!
