1220AP Console not working

The Cisco 1220 AP works fine but when I connect to the console port with an emulator, I see the running config, but it does not allow me to input text. It seems the console connection is blocked, but from telnet, i am able to input commands.

How can I have my console in working order so i can do a :resetall commend to my AP?

Try a different console cable or a different emulator.

I have tried numerous cables and immulators, including secure telnet.

The emulator needed to be set with xon-xoff.
