1242AG Implementation Question

I was looking at using a 1242AG and getting 4 50ft cables and antennas to attach to the end of the cable and then deploying them clockwise alternating the frequency on each zone(2.4/5.8/2.4/5.8). I guess I am wanting this radio to cover 4 zones. Will this work or does polarity in the 2.4's work together to cover 1 zone and the 5.8's work together to cover 1 zone?

You can't do that.... you can have the 2.4 on one zone and the 5GHz on the other, but the reason for two antennas is for diversity. If you only will use one, you set the antenna on the primary port and also have to set that on the AP. Depending on the type of cable, you will have db loss, so make sur eyou calculate that.
