2600ap diversity

Hi,  Our department just purchased the AIR-SAP2602E-A-K9 that will be replacing the 1250ap.  The original setup has 1 external antenna connected to each access point.  They are planning to continue with this one antenna setup.  By default diversity is enabled, but when we try to disable diversity (through web interface) the screen never refreshes and diversity will not uncheck.  is there something we are missing.  the 1250's can be disabled easily.

Thanks,

Scott

Hi

1. Moved this to a correct forum

2. You really should have one antenna per port on any 11n/11ac AP.

Diversity only applies for legacy data rates (11a/b/g), for anything else, having multiple streams , plus the possibility of using ClientLink, etc, are only possible when there are correct antennas installed on the device

I would strongly advice against using single antenna scenario on any case.
