352 Card switching WAPs

Cisco 350 card in Win2k SP4 laptop with current driver is constantly switching between two 1200 WAPs every few seconds, even when the laptop is moved directly under one of the WAPs. The WAPS are 802.11G radios with latest firmware. Any ideas?

If you have a spare card try replacing it, I suspect the card to be faulty.

I wonder if you can disable "Scan For A Better Access Point" under your profile. (i.e under "RF Network"). If you use the default value under "Scan For A Better Access Point" you should stay in the current access point for at least 20 second.

If the above does not fix the problem, can you increase the data retries (under the RF Network tab) from 16 to 64 please?
