7925 configuring IP

Intermttently wireless phones go into configuring IP for no reason. may fix itself right away or it may take hours to come back online. Any ideas?

Ensure you are using 792x firmware version 1.4.4.3.

If using a Cisco WLAN Controller, then I recommend to use one of the following versions:

7.0.240.0, 7.2.110.0, 7.3.101.0, 7.4.100.0

Otherwise, ensure there are no issues with the WLC/AP or network configuration.

If roaming across L2 boundaries, ensure L3 mobility is enabled or that the new L2 network is configured correctly.

If you still have issues, please open a case with TAC case for further troubleshooting.

Hi,

For this kind of situation, it seems your access-point is rebooting, make sure your access-point is accurately powered and working OK.
