Our electrician subbed out some guys to run cabling and install 20 or so 9164 aps throughout a warehouse setup.
What they ended up doing was having almost all of them mounted with the top facing horizontally, both on wall mounts and on struts coming down from the ceiling. I would guess they are about 20' up on average.
I have checked into the specs and it looks like they will be ok like this as far as coverage goes, but, I do not have the experience to know for sure,
hoping someone can let me know if this is ok, or if I am looking at having them reinstall so they are facing down and or for a wallmount situation articulated at 45 or 90 degrees?
Thanks

it depends on several factors as WiFi is effected by a lot of things, specially in warehouses, your best best is to get a survey done by a professional and plan installation or may be relocation where needed according to survey results.

Hi, we had site survey already done (by a separate company) so now we are in the process of the install,

I don’t how the survey was done, but a survey report will include picture of where AP need to be mounted, angle orientation of antenna etc. so either this information was not provided in survey or there seems to be a disconnect between installers and survey team.
this question is best directed to the survey team, since they will know all the intricate mounting details.
