Hi,

I have small doubt, can we join/co-exist both Aironet AP's and CatalystAP's on 9800WLC simultaneously?

 - You can but they need to be compatible , https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html , also as far as I understand it you can't go beyond 17.3.x with Aironet AP's.

               https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9800-series-wireless-controllers/214749-tac-recommended-ios-xe-builds-for-wirele.html#anc13

   - Also note that the latest generation of cisco wifi6e-capable access points require at least 17.6.x , so mixing such an environment will not be possible.

As the link is provided below, I would preferably avoid putting them in case area, you can have 2 physically separate locations one with aironet another with catalyst, both managed by same controller.

-hope this helps-
