What would you guys recommend for a gymnasium for covers/protection? Thanks in advanced. Will let you guys know what I go with. I was looking at a few but still wasn't too sure about what I wanted.

@kYutobi An MR52/53 would be a good fit for high-density deployments like Gymnasiums. However, If you fancy Wifi6, I would recommend checking out an MR45/55. #Wifi6 #WorthTheHype

Hi

I could search following vendors who offer Covers for APs.

https://coverandhyde.com

https://oberoninc.com/products/wap-vanity-covers

Never used though hence do not know about Quality.

Also have look on following communication

I have used these in the past, I would drill a few holes in the top and bottom to allow for airflow.

I have also used these outdoors when I needed to setup a wifi network after a natural disaster and didn't have any outdoor rated AP's on hand.

@BlakeRichardson Would you mind sharing where you got the enclosure from? We have a site in NZ that needs an enclosure and we've struggling to find one locally.

Edit: Forgot to mention. Trying to fit an MR36 to install under an eaves so just looking for a bit of water / rain protection.

Thanks

Radcliffe electrical usually has good stock of various sizes.

If the mount is outside, you should consider looking at a Meraki outdoor AP, such as the MR76. I know they're more costly, but better peace of mind than worrying about having to replace one.
