AP getting no poe, both ports,

2504, remote location, access points just died, no power. we ordered a new ap, however no light when plugged into poe ports. (so issue is not AP or cabling) i checked lag mode, disabled. (enabled and disabled again) no go

both 3/4, physical mode is auto, link status is "down" , link trap ( enabled) , and Poe is (enabled)

any way to troubleshoot this remotely?

alternately, we have a 3560 , i was thinking connecting 3560 to port 3 on the 2504, and connecting ap to 3560 directly, making sure they are in same VLAN,

on 3560 i need to configure trunking, anything needs to be done on 2504 to connect to 3560?

Pls refer below document which describe all the steps required for 2504 connecting to a switch
