I'm the tech manager here at our high school.
We have a Cisco 5508 controller with 50 Aironet AP's
Windows 2019 DHCP server
12 of my AP's are not showing up within the controller. When I look at the any of the AP's they are a solid green...even after I reboot the AP
The AP Mac is showing in the cisco switch and all 50 have reservations within DHCP
I cannot PING any of the missing 12
I'm stumped....it appears the 12 AP's are indeed connecting to the LAN, but not getting an IP from the DHCP reservation
I rebooted the DHCP server and will reboot the controller later this afternoon.
Weird though.

With "sh cdp nei detail" output can you verify what IP AP has got ?
Do you have console access to any of those AP, if so it is easier to see what's going on

So I found this out.....
Most of our AP's are AIR-CAP2702I-A-K9....all of those AP's are showing up
I had 12 Aironet LAP1142 (older models) also installed
ONLY the AIR-CAP2702I-A-K9 are now showing...none of the older models are showing up.

What version of software you run on your 5508 ? 1142 last supported on 8.3.x release.

If software is compatible, I would check whether this cert expiry is related to your issue
