Hi Cisco Team,
I configured that command like on Cisco UC540(Config)# service password-encryption , but its not worked its still showing the username and password as below.
uc540#sh archive
The maximum archive configurations allowed is 10.
The next archive file will be named scp://backup:backup@192.168.1.1/backup/-<timestamp>-2
Archive # Name
1 scp://backup:backup@192.168.1.1/backup/
Please suggest me how to encrypt the password in archive backup which will not show nonencrypeted password in show running config file.
And if you have any idea about reverse backup of router using linus server with cisco router using scp and ssh key authentication paswordless on linux server.

Has anyone found a fix to this yet?

Hello,
Actually, if you configure
ip ftp password <>
ip ftp username <>
service password-encryption
archive path without the user password - it will work.
