Let me simplify this post. I am looking at 2 DMZ configurations. The first does not use anything but the outside interface on the ASA, the second uses a DMZ interface off the ASA. With the first configuration option I would put a switch which I would have the ASA plugged into, the internet router, and any other device that I wanted in the same network segment. Your suggestions are welcomed. This might be easier than trying to open the Visio maps that I attached. Thank you.
