Hey guys,

I want to delete a local net user on my wlc 2504.

But it always says "user doesn't exist anymore on system".

It also has a strange character in its name.

Can you tell me how to delete it?

Ok got it.

I think its correct name is :Stefan Gießer (Its a German word) but  its a special char in Deutsche(German language) so its looks diff.

are you using any lobby admin account on WLC for guest account creation ? If yes then access the WLC GUI by using lobby admin username/password and delete it there.

Have you tried from CLI?

Look for the username first:

(WLC-BIAN) >show netuser summary

Then delete the username using copy and paste, if the username has a space, add double quotes.

(WLC-BIAN) >config netuser delete username <USERNAME>

I tried some things: see screenshots

I don't know how to cope with the weird symbol between the two "e". What symbol is that supposed to be?

Did you try via GUI ? If yes what was the error ?

Paste the screenshot from it:

Security > AAA > Local Net Users

and out put of this command: show netuser summary

Yeah you are right. With both!

I was always connected with 'admin'. With the lobby admin account I was able to delete the user. And in the surface of the lobby admin account, his name was shown correctly.

And yes, the character was a "ß".

Thank you!

Glad to help :)

Thanks for rating.
