I try to follow http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps430/products_password_recovery09186a00800949d0.shtml
on Cisco Aironet 1140.
But boot proccess does not interrupt whether I press ESC once or twice while I start to see loading of software image.
I've tried following termial console programms : putty, SecureCRT, hyperterminal.
No effect - it is booted always without interruption.
Boot button-mode is turned on.
Please help with any idea.

Boot loader mode? This method is NOT valid on a WAP.
You want to bypass the password or do you want to erase the config.
If you want to bypass the password, power off the WAP, hold down the mode button, and power on the WAP for at least 15 seconds (if memory serves me correct).
Do NOT connect the WAP to the network.

How is that? If for example one deletes software from WAP's flash then the WAP after power recycling
gets into boot loader mode (correct me if the mode is called differrenet) with text on screen like that
ap:
There one can issue commands like
set IP_ADDR
set NETMASK
tftp_init
tar -xtract
and so on.

I need to bypass password.

Ok. Let's imagine mode button is turned off by command no boot mode-button.
How do I get into mode I've mentioned above?
And so have in mind link I posted first - there (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps430/products_password_recovery09186a00800949d0.shtml
) it is advised to press ESC - but it does not work!!!
