Hello,
I am running two 4404 WLC's in a warehouse environment for about 20 ap's. We use [WPA + WPA2][Auth(802.1X + CCKM)], is there anyway to monitor if a certain client is actually using cckm, I do not see any information in client details. We are trying to troubleshoot some roaming problems, this might be a good step.
Thanks for your help,
Luke

We have tested CCKM as well with the same authentication setup as you. The only way I could tell was to try to roam with the client, and if the client does NOT reauthenticate after roaming, then you are using CCKM. If it does reauthenticate, then the client is not using CCKM properly. Hope this helps.

Does cckm only work with WPA2?

There are two CLI commands you may want to try:
show pmk-cache all
show client detail
WPA2 is not required for CCKM. WPA2 has it's own key cache standard. CCKM is Cisco proprietary. If you are using Windows Zero Config, you will not be able to use CCKM.
