Hi,
I need to lower the transmit (tx) power level from the default 1 to something less powerful like 4 but I don't see any way to do it through the WLC (Cisco 2504 WLC) and I can't figure it out from the CLI. Also, I saw a tutorial on how the lower the tx levels but it was using the web gui and the web gui doesn't work for these AP's.
Does anybody know how to change the TX power level throught the CLI for the Cisco 2602 LWAP and Cisco 3602 LWAP?
The primary software version is 7.3.112.0 and the IOS version is 15.2(2)JA1$.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Adam

You can change it from the WLC gui... Wireless | Access Point | 802.11b/g/n or 802.11a/n | all the way on the right there is a blue triangle, click that then configure and change the power level there:

You should be able to change the tax power in the GUI. Are you saying you don't see this option ?
Go wireless -> on left you will see 802.11bng and 802.11 an. This is where you change the radio settings. Select the ap and change the tx.

That option is not available from the 2504 WLC web GUI and I can't access the web GUI on the actual AP for some reason. That's why I was hoping to find a way to change the tx levels from the cli.

Scott,
You are the man! Thanks for the screen shot as I didn't notice that there is that little blue box on the far right that you hover over to get the configure option.
Thanks.
