Cisco 9117 AXI and C3504 WLC Issue with connection

Hi All,

Need help with connecting client/user with C9117 AP.

I have correctly connected C9117 AP with C3504 WLC, that is fine with no issues. WLC reads fine AP and all config are correct.

Where I have issues are, connecting over Laptop or Phone, Client to AP. And in general configuration on C3504 WLC, Authentication of user to be able to go through AP and WLC to Internet or network.

In standard AP, you configure it SSID, Username and Password, then clients use that Username and PWD to connect to internet.

Here on this AP, i have different procedure, and that is where I have issue.  I want to be able to connect clients/users without RADIUS server. but to be able to give them Username and Password to connect to AP.

Can someone help me with this issue? I would much appreciate.

when you configure a WLC, you configure SSID with a security setting. By default a new SSID use WPA2+ 802.1X (which is username/password) & require a RADIUS server (local WLC or external server)

Other method is configuring WPA2 with Preshared Key (WPA2-PSK), in that method, there is no username involve. Only password required to configure on client devices.

Would you able to clarify or provide more details on how you configure your SSID (probably attache some screenshot of WLAN -> Security tab configs)
