Hi,
I am having a weird issue that people are getting randonly disconnection or ip phone goes to registering but there is no disconnection on the wlc. the WLC logs show there is no disconnection when that happens.
I think this is with regards to DCA where i have set the default to 10 mins. so i am planning to change that to 24 hours.
But what i am seeing in 5ghz AP, there are multiple channel assigned to the same AP. "(40,36,44,48) *"
There is no coverage issue as user's having -75 or -67 dbm connectivity. Every time i see there is a disconnection in the user or phone there is no debugs in the logs for the client.
Is there something which you can suggest which can be causing this issue.

Hi,
Are you using 160 Mhz channel ?

I think his AP's only support 80MHz which seems to be enabled.
My suggestion along with many others here, is if your environment has many AP's and or is in a shared tenant space, don't use channel width higher than 40MHz. In some cases, going to a singe 20MHz in high density environments will help. You are probably causing more issues with channel utilization and client use on the wireless will even add more to that.
Look at the RF dashboard :Wireless | Monitoring | AP Performance to gauge what the utilization is along with interference. You can also look at the utilization and AP neighbor from the show ap auto-rf <ap hostname>. This will help you understand what is happening.
Now... I'm only going this route, because I also assume that your WLAN configuration is optimal.

Hi,
i think there is something to do with coverage hole or interference which is causing this. As we upgraded our AP from 1100 to 1800 series and only since then we started facing the issue.
The default value of coverage hole was modified and i am seeing alot of interfence in some of the AP's.
I am planning to revert back the coverage hole value to 80 dbm and for the client roamin to go -70 and threshold to -68 to see if that is solving the issue.

earlier it was using BEST for the 5ghz and but i modifed it 40 and 24 hours to change the channel.
Going through cisco documentation and other sites it says to use BEST or 80 MHz for the AC. so i am planning to change it back to BEST or 80mhz.
