Hi We are going to upgrade code from8.0.140.0 to 8.0.152.0 in WLC5500. I will follow the protocol below. but it looks like the document is a little older. Do you think so? And it mentioned boot image and primary image. What relation between the two is it? In general router, we do not have this concept, right? Thank you

yes, that's an old document.

Follow the steps from 8.0.152.0 release notes.

Thank you so much for your reply. Its a good document.

WLC550 has Primary Boot Image and Backup Boot Image. Once we upload the code to WLC, can I say the new Code become Primary Boot Image automatically, while original Primary Boot Image become Backup Boot Image, and original Backup Boot Image is gone away?
