Connecting two WGB350's

I purchased two WGB350 wireless bridges to connect a remote building to our plant LAN. However, I am not able to get these two bridges to associate. Does the one in the remote building need to be an access point instead? I've read for some models that one bridge needs to be set as the root node but I see no setting for this on these models. Thanks for any ideas.

You'll put a WGB in your remote building, and an AP in your main building for it to associate with.

Be aware that the WGB is limited to 8 wired clients at a time, so I hope it's a small site. You get get a few more people online by setting the age-out timers to a minimum, as long as they're not all online at once.

If your remote site has substantially more than 8 wired devices, you'll need to get two bridges (not WGBs) instead. BR350's if you can find them, or 1310's if you need to buy new.

Are you using them solely for bridging the network? If so, one will need to be set as the Root Bridge, while the other one will need to be set at "Non-Root Bridge w/Clients" or Non-Root Bridge w/o Clients". The latter choice is determined based on whether you would like to use the remote end (the non root bridge) to support clients. Also, what is your signal strength? I have a similar setup, and lose association at times when the signal strength ranges from 25% and below. If you have any other information concerning your configuration, let me know and I will assist.
