Convert CAPWAP to ME using a WLC

Have a couple 4800 AP's on a 3504 WLC. wondering if there is a way to use the WLC to convert the AP's to ME using the WLC instead of CLI. Trying to avoid setting up TFP, ladder and getting console access etc.

 I dont see how as the mobility express requires the software install and is not something you pre download from an WLC to AP.
