Converting AP Model CAP2620I-E-K9 from lightweight to autonomous

Hi all,

While working on a site, I found the following problem.

I need to convert an AP model CAP2620I-E-K9 from lightweight to autonomous.

It is using the following IOS/firmware stored in flash: "flash/ap3g2-rcvk9w8-mx/ap3g2-rcvk9w8-xx"

A show ip int brief reveals only the following interfaces:

BVI1

GigabitEthernet0

GigabitEthernet0.1

No wireless interfaces at all.

I presume that a new firmware will be needed to make it work as autonomous.

My questions are:

1) Which firmware do I need?

2) Can it be downloaded from Cisco?

3) Should I use ftp to upload the firmware to the AP?

2. Yes its from cisco but you need to have valid contract.

3. Yes you can use FTP or TFTP.
