I have an access point 1242 in my premises but i have problem of covering wh0le area .sumtime i get proper signal in admin room sumtimes not .i have decided to buy 1 external antenna with 10ft cable to mount external antenna infront of admin room so this problem can sort it out .

1240 AP plz suggest me external antenna with 6 10 ft cable .if it possible provide me a link too.Thanks in advance

Keep in mind that the multiple ports on the 1242 are for diversity. The AP will only tx/rx from the port that is getting the best signal between the client and AP. While using the one antenna the other is idle.

Forget about getting another antenna. Get another AP and deploy it in the coverage hole.
