I am considering using the C9124AXE without an antenna and instead connecting it using a coaxial cable with an attenuator. I would like to know if this configuration is feasible and supported by the device. Thank you.

Hello @ElmerHsieh
The antenna is a passive device and I see no problem on what you are planing. Just keep in mind that if you attach something to the AP that is not explicit recommend you know you can to lose the guarantee.
On the link below you can extract some valid information and they mention the usage of Attenuator.

Thank you for your prompt and informative response. I sincerely appreciate your valuable input and the information you shared regarding the usage of an attenuator.
I would also like to express my gratitude for providing the link to the Cisco documentation, which further supports the feasibility of using an attenuator in this scenario.

The main problem I would see here is that if you run the coaxial cable over a long distance, I mean covering different RF areas, which I suspect you are trying to do.
If doing so, this is a complete mistake as broadcasting the WLAN over wide areas (and if most noticiable if these areas are separated), where devices would be connecting, and those devices don't hear other devices on different areas, you would be creating a clear case of 'hidden nodes', where multiple devices try to transmit to the same AP at the same time. As devices don't know other one is transmitting at the same time, transmission collide on the AP side and this does not respond to any of them, so devices constantly retransmitting and coliision happen.

I aim to establish an organized setup resembling an electrical board, using coaxial cables. This arrangement would enable me to employ a coaxial cable switch and attenuator, granting me control over the RF signal flow.
Furthermore, I am grateful for your reminder to steer clear of "hidden nodes" on my RF electric board.
