What is the easiest way to track down a rogue AP to a switch port so that I can disable it? We have WISM and I we see the rogue and that its on our wired network. I could not found the macs that was associate with the rogue AP on our switches. I found the AP that reported the rogue AP and I know which switch that AP is connected to but I cannot find the mac.

If you have WCS the newer version does rouge on switch tracing for you... Have you played with that ?

I tried but I get an error stating that it cannot be performed because CDP is not enabled on the controller, even though it is enabled. So I am not sure why this is.

When it says controller, it may mean switch. Is CDP enabled on your switches?

Are there rogue clients connected to the rogue access point? And, are they generating traffic?
