Hey, I just reached the Cisco AP(AIR-LAP1242AG-C-K9) recent days, and found that the AP are used before via a wireless controller, which means it is a light AP. and now i want to change it to be a weight one. because i want to use it in my office without the controller.
But a issue occured during the operation. i connected my pc to the AP via console, and CRT cannot work when i start connection.i can't control the AP.(the cable is ok because i used it to configure a switch few minutes ago.)I don't know why. so do you know any other ideas about this problem. or realise my intention just like the topic.

Here are some ways to convert without console

Make sure flow control is disabled. There is a difference when connecting to a switch or router than a wireless device.
