Hi everyone
I´m having this issue with some Apple devices, I´m trying to connect them to my WLAN, for throubleshoot I create a new WLAN with WPA2-TKIP and a PSK, the devices didin´t connect to the WLAN.
I also change the security to WPA2-AES with TKIP, it didn´t work too.
My best choice was to disable every security configuration in order to began the throubleshooting from zero, but even with no Layer 2 and 3 security, the devices didn´t connect to my Test WLAN.
I´m using a AIR-CT2504-K9 WLC with two AIR-CAP3502I-A-K9 AP, all the PCs and other brand cellphones and tablets work well.
Also I have a SOHO router on the office, and the IPad connect without a problem with that WLAN, but I need them to connect to my Cisco AP.
Best Regards

I already reset the network settings, restart the Devices, restart the router.
What else can I do?
Best Regards

You need to either use WPA/TKIP or WPA2/AES. Don't use both or a mix of the two. WPA2/TKIP is your problem. Also disable session timeout and client load balancing if that's enabled.

Hi Scott
Today I do those testing you recommended me.
1. WPA/TKIP with PSK Didn´t work
2. WPA/TKIP without PSK Didn´t work
3. WPA2/AES with PSK Didn´t work
4, WPA2/AES without PSK Didn´t work
5. No security at all. Didn´t work
I activate a debugging in the WLC to one device MAC Address, I capture the information where it began to loop.
Best Regards

A few things....
You state that the iPads & iPhones join the SOHO without issue. Lets' focus on the controller then.
As Scott stated, WPA or WPA2 but not both.
Also, You can have either FT or WPA, but not both on the same WLAN. iOS devices support FT as of iOS 6.
What data rates are enabled? I imagine you do not have the choice to disable/enable rates on the SOHO router, but it is possible on the controller. I have seen instances where too many or too few rates were set.
is DHCP Relay enabled on the controller? I think so based on the debugs. Try disabling it. I have seen a few DHCP server vendor offerings that did not work well with the controller DHCP relay.
Also, check the DHCP server logs to see if it is even getting the requests.
