Linksys WAP4400N connecting through Cisco 3750G

I am attempting to install a Linksys WAP4400N access point on my network. The switch is a Cisco 3750G. Every time we plug it in, the connection light on the 4400N comes on and then drops off. On the switch, in Cisco Network Assistant, the port connected to the WAP goes yellow . When we take the port out of the VLAN, the connection stays on but it is not on the network. What must I do to get the WAP work on the VLAN on my network? All workstations work perfectly.

Make sure the switch port is configured as a trunk port. Check the cable connecting the devices. Try changing the speed and duplex setting manually for proper negotiations.
