LWAP Console Access

Good Day!

I am aware of the controller command "config ap username 'user' password 'pass' all/cisco ap"

However I am wondering if it is possible to actually get a login prompt from the lwap console. Entering the command specifies a username, however you are not prompted for the username from the lwap console. I realize that you are a privilege 1 user, however I would like to prevent access from the Lwap console port completely.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks!

This can be done by creating a local user database on the AP and then enabling login authentication. You will have to use the same commands as that of the router for enabling login authentication.
