Mesh setup: can I mesh more APs with only one cabled AP?

Hello there.

I'm about to set up a wireless environment and my question is: can I define 1 Root AP and somehow "sequentially" mash APs, each of these a bit farther away? Like this:

Root AP0 --> Mash AP1 --> Mash AP2 (which connects to AP1, because not able to reach AP0)

Any help will be appreciated.
