Overlapping APs (more than 3).

I do RF Surveys for the Oil industry and one of my customers is going to have 5 APs coverage areas overlap. Cisco advises to use CH. 1, 6 and 11. This gives me only 3 overlaps. I am looking for information about the use of more than 3 overlaps. All of the APs have ethernet connection and none of the coverage areas overlap the actual AP itself.

Any information is welcome.

Thanks.

You only need to use the Channel 1, 6 and 11 if you plan to locate three access points at one location) to increase throughput to 33mbps. Is this what you are trying to do? If so, you cannot add a 4th and 5th to the same cell. It sounds like your LAN is spread across a large area and you want to put 5 access points across that area. No problem. Leave the channels alone. Does that help?
